I still weigh 349 pounds people! In the following photos I'm 450ish.

I can see it in peoples eyes when I tell them I have lost almost 100 lbs...
HOW FAT WERE YOU BEFORE?!

The picture to the left was of me and my little boy at Columbia CA just before we got on the stage coach.
I could see the horses get a little panicky when they saw me waddling towards the coach.
I'm still fat...just LESS fat.

The picture to the right is of my sweet wife Sage and I on our anniversary. We traveled from Temple to Temple (we are LDS) worshiping God and sweating profusely while walking from the parking lot.
I think they should have size ratings on the changing stalls in the locker rooms there also.
Its hard to squeeze your butt into a cubicle that is smaller than your pants. I felt like I was on minute to win it.

Announcer: OK the object of this game is to not pass out while trying to squeeze your gut into an outfit that will make you resemble a snowman! You have 20 seconds GO!

The third photo is of my sweetheart and I getting ready to board the Heber Creeper.
The train was once called the "Heber Hotrod" but had to change it's name to "Creeper" after hauling my butt all over the mountains.

Watch the video after this and remember these photos to give you perspective.
Remember; I'm still fat...just LESS fat.

Here is another video update. It's been a while since my surgery and things are going so well for me. I am truly blessed.

11 days out postop

This video is a little dated being filmed around June 15th. It's now July 9th. I will say it is from Jet lag, but we all know it is from butt lag. I couldn't get my butt in gear to do it. I have lost a chunk of weight since the video and had some other experiences on my weight loss journey that may be beneficial to some out there. I will try to get a video made and get it up here soon. I think you will enjoy the angle this video is shot at as it predominately displays my huge stomach and the aqua colored car cover I have on.

This is a video we shot in the hospital waiting in our room to come to the hotel. One thing we are learning from all of the new friends we have gained on this journey is that each experience is different. We all came out of surgery in different ways, I didn't handle the anesthesia well and what should have been a 3 hour procedure with recovery became a 6 hour process. Well I am out and feeling well. I am a little bloated but cant complain. I am thinking of creating an email address just for people who have questions to contact me and ask any questions they want, but for now I will just keep going with the videos.

The Good the Bad and the Ugly...Sticking to the pre op diet

The pre-operation diet is a necessary EVIL!  Actually it isn't that bad you dump a few pounds to get the ball rolling and get your insides easier to deal with. It's totally worth it.
People always say;" why don't you just stay on the diet to loose the weight?"  I like to answer this way; "That would be easy if  use the Safeway method." "What's the Safeway method", they always ask. "Well you just take the S out of safe and the F out of way", I say.
After they think about it they say;"There is no F in way?!"
THAT'S RIGHT DIPSTICK THERE IS NO F IN WAY I'M STAYING ON THIS DIET!!!!
Any more questions? No? Good.
